After dinner, make your way to Kilimanjaro Papa's Whiskey Bar, where our eclectic collection of drinks provides the backdrop to good conversation and good company enjoyed on the breathtaking terrace with views up to the roof of Africa. While sourcing connoisseurs' choice whiskeys can be challenging in our location, we believe we have one of the finest collections south of the equator.
It is perhaps appropriate that our lodge is located at the start of Kilimanjaro's 'Whiskey Route' - the name used by porters to distinguish it from nearby Marangu's 'Coca-Cola Route'.

Kaliwa's gastronomic restaurant is at the heart of our lodge. It is here where Lina, our chef, and her talented team create the fusion cuisine that has become one of the restaurant's hallmarks.
Don't miss our Green Papaya Salad, Fish in Banana Leaf, and our famous Passion Fruit Ice Cream, all homemade with fresh ingredients from the garden. Our background has encompassed Europe, Asia, and Africa in our wanderings, and in designing our menu, we have endeavored to fuse the flavors of these continents into an unforgettable culinary experience for our guests.
